A British Farce by Michael Frayn
The play follows the on- and off-stage antics of a touring company as they fumble from dress rehearsal to disastrous last night of their production of the sex comedy, Nothing On. Everything that can go wrong does, as the cast desperately tries to hang on to their lines, their performances and the furniture, resulting in a hilarious descent into chaos.
Dotty Otley: (F) Older veteran actress. Plays the part of the house keeper.
Lloyd Dallas: (M) Middle aged. A hopeless womanizer. Director of the play.
Garry Lejeune: (M) Middle aged. Considerable physical comedy. Actor in the play.
Brooke Ashton: (F) Young, attractive. Type cast in the play as an air head.
Poppy Norton-Taylor: (F) Young - Middle aged. The distraught and sometimes overwhelmed assistant stage manager.
Frederick Fellows: (M) Middle aged. Actor in the play.
Belinda Blair: (F) Middle aged. Actress in the play.
Tim Allgood: (M) Young to Middle aged. Stage manager and universal understudy. Some physical comedy.
Selsdon Mowbray: (M) Old veteran actor. Alcoholic with bad hearing. A great challenging part. Actor in the play.
