The Pirates of Penzance - Spring 2002

The Pirates of Penzance > > > April 12 - 20, 2002

A Comic Operetta by Gilbert and Sullivan

Oh, better far to live and die
Under the brave black flag I fly,
Than play a sanctimonious part,
With a pirate head and a pirate heart.

Away to the cheating world go you,
Where pirates all are well-to-do.
But I'll be true to the song I sing,
And live and die a Pirate king.

When the hero of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE was but a boy, his father instructed his nurse to have him apprenticed as a pilot. She thought he said "pirate" and thus the zany troubles began.

This production marks Morpheus Theatre's entry into the larger Victor Mitchell Theatre - join Morpheus and the hundreds of G&S enthusiasts as Morpheus presents The Pirates of Penzance (Six years after we started presenting Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas).
