We would like to congratulate all recipients & nominees of this year\u2019s Cat Awards! The community came out to celebrate in Big Top style the dedication and passion of all community theatre volunteers on August 25 at the Rozsa Centre. Morpheus was pleased to present a Volunteer Award to Margaret Harper\u00a0<\/strong>for her exceptional contributions to our company for this past year. Also, special\u00a0Congratulations goes to\u00a0Sandy Lucas<\/strong>\u00a0who received the award in her category! See\u00a0the complete list of recipients\u00a0HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sept\u00a022\u00a0\u2013<\/b>Talk like a Brit!<\/a>\u00a0 with Jane MacFarlane – <\/strong>This workshop will teach you how to do a British Stage Standard Dialect or Received Pronunciation {RP} that is integrated in character and the oral geography of the sound, and not just mimicry. We will look at the RP as well as how dialects move around the various regions on southern England. Knowing how you move from your own sound into the dialect of the character will also help you to adopt other dialects and accents for other regions. you will learn how and why we sound differently, depending on where you are from!<\/em><\/p>\n
